Reindeer Games: A Beloved New DHS Tradition?

Current Events: Shorts!

As DHS geared up for holiday break with the final spirit week of 2023, many students looked on in confusion at the listed “Reindeer Games.” A new tradition introduced this Friday, the Reindeer Games involve teachers and students playing various games in the gym, as the rest of DHS watches on from the bleachers.

The Games started out with knockout, then a fun relay race involving floor scooters and snowmen, before the grand finale of tug of war. The fan favorite element of these games appeared to be that the teams were grade versus grade, allowing each grade level to band together against their juniors or seniors

So DHS, do you want the Reindeer Games to be a new DHS tradition? It must be noted that despite the loud cheers from the bleachers, the majority of DHS students seemed to have snuck out before the games, starting their break early.
