The holidays are here, coats are in season and the days are shorter. As we get deeper into the month of December an important questions stands:
Will we have a white Christmas?
The last time it snowed on Christmas in the area was in 1976 in Bridgeport, CT. Historically in Connecticut, there is a 28% of having a white Christmas.

What has the weather been like on Christmas in the past couple of years?
On Christmas day in 2023:
There was zero precipitation which means no snow.
On Christmas day in 2022:
There was zero precipitation which means no snow.
On Christmas day in 2021:
There was 0.05 precipitation which means there was some rain but no snow.
On Christmas day in 2020:
There was zero precipitation which means no snow.

There hasn’t been much success with snow on Christmas in the past couple of years and this year is no different.
This year’s prediction has not changed with a prediction of zero precipitation.
But don’t fret! There is always hope and room for a Christmas miracle! Happy Holidays!
