DHS Writing Center Goes Electronic

DHS+Writing+Center+Goes+Electronic

The DHS branch of the National English Honors Society, or NEHS, will continue to provide tutoring services during the ongoing quarantine. Starting next week, the Writing Center will be going electronic.

Previously located in the English Learning Connections, the Writing Center can now be accessed through a Google Classroom with the code “quoakni”. There, students can find a link to YouCanBookMe, which the Writing Center has been using to book sessions since the beginning of the year. These sessions, held on Zoom, will now be 30 minutes long, rather than 20.

This is just one of many ways DHS is attempting to stay connected with its student body and provide them support. The Writing Center has been a valuable resource for community minded students to share their talents and help their peers develop critical writing skills. So whether it’s for English, History, or any elective under the stars, head over to the Writing Center to be matched with a student “writing expert” who can cater to your needs!
