It’s time for DHS students to get educated on our mental health.

Emily Torchiana, Ted X speaker will be speaking this Thursday night, October 3, at Darien Library at 7 pm.

Torchianna struggled with her mental health starting in middle school. After several suicide attempts, she seeks to raise awareness for all of those who may be going through even the mildest stages of depression. She is a strong survivor who is willing to share her story.

The Darien Library has worked with the Darien Depot Teen Center to bring Torchianna for the second time. 

Students and parents are both welcome.
