Pet owners know that owning a dog has ups and downs, but one common thing that dogs always carry is their curiousness about their surroundings, usually with their noses, dogs inspect nature and human activity.
Moose’s day always consists of a new adventure, whether it is chasing a deer that is ten times bigger than her in the woods, to picking a fight with a big pitbull at the local dog park or laying on her back begging for belly rubs. Moose like many dogs in adventurous and loves the aspects of nature. This story follows a day in the life of Moose chasing a squirrel first spotted at her home.
After a long night’s sleep, I always enjoy waking up to my comfortable bed and tugging my toys against Connor. What he doesn’t know is that I don’t try against him because I could easily win, it’s good for his confidence.After tug of war I usually, hold on ‘sniff, sniff, sniff’, I think I smell a squirrel. I hopped up on my hunting window and scanned the lawn.Holy Cow, there he is! He better not think he can walk on my lawn without any problems. I’m going to chase him out of here, the Fagan’s can’t be bothered with a wild animal on their property.After chasing the wild animal through the street and into the woods I was sure he couldn’t escape. I had trapped him into the brush near the fence of the woods. Now I just needed to sniff him out.After tirelessly searching through the brush, the culprit had escaped, how could I go back to the house without my prey. The last time I returned to my house with a mouse, my father was clearly not impressed, he must only accept squirrels.After a long day of adventure, it is time for my bed or my parents’ bed. As everyone leaves the house for work and school, the house is mine. Curling up on my bed gives me a nice siesta in the middle of the day.
